Class 4 explored The Polar Express (by Chris Van Allsburg) with an immersive Literacy lesson. They boarded the 'train' in their dressing gowns, had their tickets clipped and then drank hot chocolate in order to get into role as one of the children on their journey to the North Pole. The experience was then used as a prompt for creative writing.
